Join us for an unforgettable half-day trip from Maribor to two of Slovenia’s most famous attractions: Postojna Cave and Predjama Castle. With a comfortable departure at 08:30, you can enjoy the sights without having to start your day too early.
Our first stop is the world-famous Postojna Cave, one of the largest and most spectacular cave systems in Europe. Discover its impressive underground halls, fascinating rock formations and mysterious subterranean world. The cave tour includes a unique underground train ride and a guided visit.
We then continue to Predjama Castle, a spectacular medieval castle built into a dramatic cliff face. The castle is famous for its fascinating history and the legendary story of Erazem of Predjama, a knight who used the castle as a hideout during a siege.
We visit Predjama Castle from the outside, giving you the opportunity to admire its unique setting and take memorable photographs. Entrance to Predjama Castle is not included in the tour.
After visiting Postojna Cave and Predjama Castle, we return to Maribor, arriving at approximately 15:00.

MARIBOR – POSTOJNA CAVE – PREDJAMA CASTLE
Your day trip begins in Maribor, with pick-up from your hotel or apartment at 08:30. We travel through the beautiful Slovenian countryside towards the Karst region and the famous Postojna Cave.
Our first stop is Postojna Cave, one of Slovenia’s most famous natural attractions and one of the largest cave systems in Europe. Discover the fascinating underground world of impressive stalactites, stalagmites and magnificent cave chambers. The visit to the cave includes a unique underground train ride and a guided tour.
We then continue to Predjama Castle, a spectacular medieval castle built into the rock face above a cave. The castle is famous for its dramatic location and fascinating history, including the legendary story of the knight Erasmus of Predjama.
After visiting Postojna Cave and Predjama Castle, we return to Maribor, arriving at approximately 15:00.
