Upon arrival in Koper, enjoy a pleasant walking tour of the city, where you will explore all the sights of the historic old town – from beautiful squares and historic buildings to picturesque streets that hide stories of the past.
Sečovlje Salina Nature Reserve 🌿
After visiting Koper, we will head to the Sečovlje Salina Nature Reserve, where you can admire the unique salt marsh ecosystem. We will make a stop long enough for photos and to listen to the guide’s explanation.
Portorož – Free Time by the Sea 🏖️ (12:00 - 15:00)
Next, we continue to the popular resort town of Portorož, where you will have free time for a walk by the sea, coffee or ice cream, and perhaps some light shopping or relaxation on the beach. Departure from Portorož is scheduled for 15:00.
Lipica Stud Farm – Slovenia’s National Pride 🐴
On the way back, we will pass through Trieste, where the guide will share many interesting facts. We will stop at Piazza Unità, where you can take photos of the most beautiful square in Trieste. Afterwards, we will continue to Lipica Stud Farm, the oldest European stud farm, founded in 1580. The guide will tell you all about the unique Lipizzaner horses, which are born dark but turn completely white within ten years. We hope to see the horses grazing and admire their elegance. Learn about the Lipizzaner horses, their history, and traditions.
Return to Gornja Radgona 🕥
After a rich day full of experiences and wonderful impressions, we will return to Gornja Radgona around 22:30.
