Join us on a delightful pre-New Year excursion to our charming capital city!
Departure will be at 08:00 from Gornja Radgona, 08:30 from Maribor, and 08:45 from Slovenska Bistrica. After a pleasant and relaxing drive, we will arrive in Ljubljana – the most beautiful Slovenian city in December, famous every year for its rich festive decorations and warm holiday atmosphere.
Why Ljubljana?
Because it is close, not far at all, and above all because during this season it shines in its most beautiful festive appearance. The city is richly decorated with beautiful lights, various holiday ornaments, numerous stalls, and an outstanding selection of delicious food and drinks that will delight every visitor.
Guided tour of the old town centre
Upon arrival, we will take a leisurely walk through the old town centre, the most interesting part of Ljubljana.
Our tour will begin at Kongresni trg (Congress Square), then continue to Trg francoske revolucije (French Revolution Square), where you will learn why Ljubljana proudly hosts one of the very few monuments to Napoleon in Europe.
We will walk on to the banks of the Ljubljanica River, cross the Šuštarski Bridge, stroll through the magical Old Ljubljana, and continue all the way to the Town Hall, with our final stop at the iconic Prešeren Square.
The guided tour will last approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, after which you will have plenty of free time to enjoy the festive atmosphere, do some shopping, taste local culinary delights, or simply take a relaxing walk through the beautifully decorated streets.
Return
Departure from Ljubljana will be at 20:00, with the expected arrival in Maribor or Gornja Radgona around 22:00.
