DAY TRIP FROM MARIBOR TO LAKE BLED & BOHINJ
Join us on an unforgettable day trip from Maribor to Lake Bled and Lake Bohinj, two of the most beautiful natural destinations in Slovenia. The tour also takes you through the spectacular landscapes of Triglav National Park, Slovenia’s only national park and one of the oldest national parks in Europe.
The journey begins in Maribor, where you will be picked up from your hotel or apartment and travel comfortably towards the Julian Alps. Along the way, enjoy beautiful views of the Slovenian countryside, the Savinja Alps, the Karawanks and the majestic Julian Alps.
Our first stop is Lake Bled, one of Slovenia’s most famous destinations. Surrounded by mountains and dominated by the picturesque Bled Castle, the lake offers breathtaking scenery and plenty of opportunities to explore. You will have free time to walk along the lakeshore, enjoy the views of Bled Island and take memorable photographs.
From Lake Bled, the journey continues to Lake Bohinj, located in the heart of Triglav National Park. Just a short drive from Bled, Bohinj is Slovenia’s largest natural lake and is surrounded by the impressive peaks and forests of the Julian Alps. Here, you will have time to relax by the lake, enjoy the peaceful surroundings and explore this beautiful Alpine valley.
Throughout the day, you will discover Slovenia’s spectacular Alpine landscapes and learn more about the region’s natural and cultural heritage. The combination of Lake Bled, Lake Bohinj and Triglav National Park makes this an ideal day trip for anyone who wants to experience some of the highlights of Slovenia in one day.
At the end of the tour, we return to Maribor, arriving at approximately 17:00.
