We will visit the main city of the Istrian peninsula - Koper, or Capo di Istria, as it was named by the Italians. We will take a stroll through the beautiful old town center, where we can admire numerous sights such as Titov Square, one of the most beautiful and oldest squares in Slovenia, Brolo Square, surrounded by baroque palaces, Prešeren Square, which offers a view of the Muda Gate and a piece of the city's defensive walls, and a very interesting fountain. We will also visit Carpaccio Square, where there is a Gothic house from the 14th century, as the painter Carpaccio was born there when the Istrian peninsula was still under the rule of the Venetian Republic.
After the approximately one-hour tour, we will head towards the salt pans. I am confident that the salt pans will fascinate you, just like all the other guests so far. When we get there, your guide will tell you the story that will help you understand why the salt pans are our pride.
Our trip will conclude in the beautiful town of Piran, where we will enjoy a city tour and a romantic dinner.
