An excursion to Lake Bled and Lake Bohinj from
Piran is the perfect opportunity to experience one of the most beautiful parts of Slovenia. You will begin with a picturesque drive through green valleys and the Julian Alps, which will soon open up to stunning views of Lake Bled. There, you will have plenty of time to explore Bled Castle, take a walk around the lake, ride a traditional Pletna boat, and taste the famous cream cake, known as a delicious specialty of this area.
Next, you will travel to Lake Bohinj, where you will have the opportunity to explore this idyllic alpine lake and its surroundings. You will admire the mighty mountains that surround the lake, take a walk along the forest path by the shore.
On the way back to Piran, you will stop in a Bled, where you will have the opportunity to taste local food and drinks and buy souvenirs. This excursion is an excellent way to experience the natural beauty of Slovenia in just one day.
